Manufacturer: Wasaki

First Impressions
I purchased this adapter from Radioshack for $15.99, a decent price.
The first thing I noticed upon opening the Wasaki PS2 to USB adapter's package was the size, it measures about 8cm wide, 7.5 deep and 2 thick.

Size Comparison with a Quarter.

Installation was extremely simple, foolproof as far as I am concerned. Simply launch the setup program included on the CD (In fact the only thing on the CD), click next a few times then finish and *presto* you are all done.

Configuration is rather easy as well, in fact there isn't really anything to configure at all. For the most part it Just Works.

Here we see the Game Controllers configuration panel in Windows XP Pro.

Here we see the Testing and Calibration tab of the controller configuration

The Vibration testing tab, here you can test both vibration generators at any desired level.

The Version tab, self explanatory...
Configuration for ZSNES was rather straight forward, once the drivers are installed and the controller plugged in it is a simple matter of defining your desired control scheme. Simple double click on the control you want to define then press a button on the controller.

All in all this is a very impressive product, it was very easy to install and configure furthermore it did exactly what I wanted without and hassle. It works with both ZSNES and PJ64 without issue. In fact picking up a second adapter for multiplayer capability would be a good idea.
The Wasaki PS2 controller to USB adapter is well constructed out of heavy plastics and has a good solid feel to it. At 8cm wide, 7.5cm deep and 2cm thick it is a tad bulky for easy transporting.
Configuration: 9/10Not much to say about configuration as it pretty much Just Works. It is always a pleasure when hardware works without any fiddling.
Ease of use: 10/10Ten out of ten for easy of use, it couldn't get any simpler.
Overall: 9.5/10Overall I highly recommend picking up one of these if you are into emulation or want a controller for your rig. Shelling out $16 for an adapter and getting to use your Sony DS2 is a better way to go then purchasing a purpose made PC controller. It's cheaper and the DS2 is the best controller around.
